Background

Private credit with personality and purpose.

Mera Investment Management was founded in 2019 to originate and manage real estate private credit investments exclusively for a large UK single family office.

Pleased with the way we operated, the family become a shareholder in the business in 2023 and we opened the doors to allow third parties to co-invest alongside us.

Our private backing provides us with the ability to move at speed and with purpose, often taking a counter-cyclical approach and financing a diverse range of real estate credit opportunities.

We are now backed by multiple co-investors including HNWIs, family offices and global financial institutions. Relationships that are built on experience, performance and trust.

Our private credit products include Senior, Stretch Senior and Preferred Equity, with further details below.

We have flexibility in structuring, an ability to underwrite large complex deals and can deploy funds across the entire capital stack.

Senior Lending

  • £1,000,000 to £50,000,000
  • Up to 65% LTV
  • Typically used for asset acquisitions, stabilisation periods or refinancing

Stretch Senior Lending

  • £1,000,000 to £50,000,000
  • Up to 75% LTV
  • Utilised when higher leverages are required to minimise equity contributions.

Preferred Equity

  • £1,000,000 to £5,000,000
  • Up to 90% of equity requirement
  • Commercial value-add, residential development and asset turnaround
